THE ICE IS
YOUR STAGE

A Harmonious Blend
of Artistry & Athleticism

One Skater.
8 Coaches.

At TakeOne Ice Skating Academy (TISA), we move beyond the conventional one-coach to one-student model.Every skater is guided by a team of seven specialists—covering jumps, spins, skating skills, choreography, strength, and recovery.

This all-rounded approach ensures structured, expert-led training at every stage, eliminating the need for outside coaches. At TISA, skaters get everything they need, all in one place—and all this is done by the highest level of coaching expertise and systems.

All done in-house by our world-class coaching team.

MAIN COACH

A student’s Main Coach is the cornerstone of their skating journey, overseeing progress, setting goals, and ensuring seamless coordination between all seven specialists for a structured, well-rounded path to peak performance.

JUMP COACH

A Jump Coach refines technique, power, and air control, focusing on takeoff mechanics, rotation efficiency, and stable landings. They break down jump elements to enhance consistency, height, and execution for competition-level performance.

SPIN COACH

Focuses on centering, speed, and position precision to maximize spin quality and difficulty. Enhances balance, flexibility, and transitions, ensuring seamless execution and higher grade of execution (GOE) scores in competition.

CHOREO, MUSIC & COSTUME

Shapes the skater’s artistic identity through choreography, musical interpretation, and seamless movement. Selects music that enhances performance style and guides costume design for aesthetics, storytelling, and competition compliance.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Enhances power, endurance, and stability through targeted off-ice training. Focuses on jump explosiveness, core strength, agility, and injury prevention to optimise on-ice performance and sustain peak condition throughout demanding routines.

SKATING SKILLS & EDGES

Develops edge control, balance, and fluidity for seamless movement on ice. Enhances power, glide, and precision in turns, steps, and transitions, building the technical foundation for stronger performance and artistry.

PHYSIO & REHAB

Focuses on injury prevention, recovery, and mobility optimisation. Provides treatment, rehabilitation, and personalised care to ensure skaters maintain peak physical condition, recover efficiently, and sustain long-term performance on the ice.

SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY

Builds mental resilience, focus, and confidence for competition and training. Develops strategies to manage pressure, enhance performance consistency, and strengthen mindset for overcoming challenges and achieving peak potential on the ice.
